We have been wanting to get the boys traditional Korean outfits(Hanboks) forever now. We finally did! I am so glad too because the boys loved them and thought they were so cool! These special outfits are worn even now by all ages. Usually for special holidays, dressing up and especially weddings. It is a custom here for every kid to have their picture taken with a hanbok on when they turn one. There are so many different colors and styles. Very colorful! You also must know that Korea does not have color genders. So, pink is worn for boys all the time and thought nothing of it.

Case in point, several hours after delivery Rocco was wheeled into my room in a pink bed topped off with a pink hat on his head!!!! So, these hanboks may look girly to you but these really are boy hanboks. I promise! :-)
